POSTAGE & PACKING
MAINLAND UK:
Parcels will be sent either via Royal Mail or Parcelforce. Typically, delivery times will range between 1 and 5 working days.
ABROAD:
Parcels will either be sent to Europe using the Parcelforce EURO 48 Service or to the Rest of the World using their International Scheduled Service. Typically, delivery times will range between 2 and 8 working days.
Orders of Less than 8 LP’s:
Up to a maximum weight of 2Kg, smaller parcels may be sent using the ‘Small Packet’ service. This is significantly cheaper than sending via International Parcelforce, but please note that there is no insurance provided for parcels lost or damaged in the post when using this service.
Where applicable, if the value is over £100 we will send by registered mail and add £3 to the cost. This affords you extra protection.
8 or more LP’s (or over 2Kg)
All orders for more than 8 LP’s (outside the UK) are sent air-mail using Parcelforce, the standard UK service. The postal charge for larger parcels sent in this way includes compensation of up to £250 if the parcel is lost. Packages can now be insured up to £2500 by paying an extra £2 per £500 of compensation. Please note that for this to be effective, the value of the records needs to appear on your package.
NB: Postal charges are per box with a maximum of 35 discs per box. Please also note that box sets weigh more than the number of discs they contain and as such we have to add an extra £1 per box.

LP CONDITION
Nearly all records we ship give complete satisfaction. However, it is inevitable that mistakes can occur occasionally. LP’s are all visually examined and re-examined prior to despatch. If the LP’s are not considered at this stage to be in fine playing condition, you will be notified immediately.
For older records, it is reasonable to expect an occasional tick or modest surface mark and access to a record cleaning machine is advised. The odd LP may have paper lines or slightly longer marks noticeable on the surface. These which appear on items in this list are no more than scuff marks and occur when the LP is returned into its sleeve and the thumb gently scuffs the surface (ie thumbnail or t/n). These items are audibly checked to ensure that record grooves are not damaged in any way and that the sound is unaffected.
If unfortunately you do receive a truly unsatisfactory record, please let us know within two months of receipt and a replacement, (if available) refund or credit against future purchases will be made without question. Please do not return any records without having first contacted us.
LP’s returned for any other reason will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
